Hi my name is Charley Gillam I'm 14 years old and from Surrey. I am an Actor and Social media influencer. Today I am going to talk to you about my career and how to get involved with acting and social media.
My acting journey so far has been a rollercoaster it's had its ups and downs, but you just pick yourself up and try to learn to carry on and persevere. I have had so many amazing opportunities with my acting career.
I’ve been lucky enough to perform in some of the country's biggest pantomimes. The first ever pantomime I performed in was Maidstone Panto Peter Pan 2017-2018 I played a lost boy alongside some famous faces. Such as; James Sutton from Hollyoaks Amelia Lilly from X factor and Celebrity Big Brother (just to name a couple!!) Since then, I have been signed on to and agent So Talented London and now a proud member of Spotlight. I have also taken part in some more local pantomimes like Woldingham Pantomime I have been a part of their panto family for the past 3 years. This year I was a part of Woldingham's Online Pantomime production Twas The Night Before Christmas! You can watch it at www.woldinghampantomime.com I was also seen on CBBC’S Blue Peter in 2020! I am looking forward to so much more opportunities coming this year. My tips for anyone wanting to be involved with acting is to join your local drama class I started at one on Saturdays. Work on your acting and always take tips onboard on how to improve and soon it will take you too amazing places. Believe in yourself and never give up!!
Social Media is one of the main ways I get a lot of acting inquires. I use many different platforms including Tik Tok, Instagram, YouTube and 21 Buttons and over all my socials I have a following of 7.1k+ I am very proud of my accounts and how they have grown so quickly.
I use many different platforms on how to use my accounts and how to grow my accounts. The main one I use is @georgiaportogalloltd she is an amazing influencer with an amazing business. I brought her program for £25 and it has opened so many doors. To getting collabs, growing my accounts making fantastic content and so much more. I really recommend purchasing her package if you are serious about going into the social media industry.
My tips for getting started in social media is to believe, dream and achieve don’t care what people think and be yourself and keep creating!
